A new solid ink printer for the LNL Printers for Schools Scheme

The ColorQube 8570 is a new fast heavy duty printer using the innovative Xerox solid ink technology to produce rich, glossy prints.

The printer is supremely reliable , is easy to use and has important environmental advantages over most colour lasers. It is certainly a cost-effective alternative to inkjet printers and most older laser printers but if your colour coverage is above average, we may recommend an alternative laser printer. The printer is supplied with a starter set of blocks (3,000 pages approx.) and full manufacturer warranty cover for three years. All you pay for is the ink supplied with the printer at £180 plus vat with free delivery. Your commitment is to keep the printer for three years and purchase a further five sets of each colour and black during the period of the contract. The replacement black blocks are rated at 8,600 pages per pack and the colours 4,400 pages per pack. The current price of consumables can be checked here.

For more economical and environmentally-friendly printing, a duplex option (printing on both sides) is available on the printer for a rental fee of £50 + vat per year.
