Xerox Phaser 6500

New laser printer for the LNL Printers for Schools Scheme

The Phaser 6500 is a new compact laser printer designed for printing in lower use areas.

It is an ideal replacement for an expensive to run inkjet printer or an old laser printer used in a small classroom or office.

The colour print quality with this printer is excellent with fine detail and shading accurately reproduced, even compared to more expensive machines. A print speed of 23 ppm in either black and white or colour ensures that jobs can be completed quickly. The toner-only cartridges allow for 80% less waste than comparable colour devices using integrated print cartridges. Their compact size also means that spare cartridges do not take up valuable storage space.

The printer is supplied with a set of 1,000 page toners and full manufacturer warranty cover for three years. All you pay for is the set of toner cartridges in the printer at £106 plus a £14 delivery charge, a total of £120 + vat. Your commitment is to keep the printer for three years or 33,000 pages, which ever is reached first and to buy a further five sets of toners during the period of the contract. The replacement black cartridge has a capacity of 3,000 pages and the colours 2,500 pages. The current price of consumables can be checked here.

For more economical and environmentally-friendly printing, a duplex option (printing on both sides) is available on the printer for a one-off rental fee of £80.
